Welcome to Archie Foal. We specialise in British made luxury knitwear and socks for men and women. Archie Foal’s distinctive, shooting inspired knitwear and beautiful long socks are made throughout the United Kingdom by master knitters using fine yarns and employing techniques honed over generations. Our largest sock supplier has been producing the quality hosiery since 1752, other since the late 1800’s.
All Archie Foal products are made with responsibly and locally sourced yarns. Our socks are made from a high twist angora and extra fine merino. Both these fibres are breathable natural insulators, producing a durable yarn that feels as soft as cashmere. Our hand finished merino knitwear will keep you warm and stylish throughout the coldest of winters and is equally at home on a Highland grouse moor as Gstaad or Shoreditch.
Archie Foal socks come in a number of different lengths, ankle, boot or knee length for women. Our regular men’s length makes a elegant and warm every day sock, which is also suitable for skiing, walking, riding or golf. A number of our sock styles are ideal for kilts or to wear with Wellingtons.. Archie Foal's longer shooting socks are designed to be worn with breeks or plus two’s.
