Magnus Gjoen

Born in London to Norwegian parents, Magnus Gjoen grew up in Switzerland, Denmark and Italy as well as in the UK. As a contemporary artist Gjoen has exhibited worldwide and has been acquired for the permanent collections around the world including that of the Haifa Museum of Art and Daimler collection. He has collaborated with renowned porcelain manufacturer Meissen and London's prestigious Wallace Collection. His collectors include Kate Moss, Kylie Jenner & Graham Norton.
Magnus describes himself as an “accidental artist”, and only came to art when decorating the walls of his flat. His approach is one that exposes juxtapositions as a means of bringing about a new perspective, with his collection of prints ranging from the decorative to the refined, from figurative subjects to still life scenes.
