Donk

Donk is a street artist working within the paste-up tradition. He combines original photography, printmaking and hand finishing techniques. He has been placing his work onto the streets of London and elsewhere since 2008, with imagery often inhabited by his family & friends. The strongly evocative and anachronistic images remix urban history and culture, across a time line of his own making, at once referencing the past and the contemporary to make playful connections between universal themes of human strength, vulnerability and the passage of time.

His aim is to communicate something sincere but ultimately entertaining.

Donk has recently relocated from London to Portugal.
